Obituary |
LOHRE L. ORTOLANO
ALMOND-Lohre L. Ortolano (nee Erb/Fisher) formerly of Buffalo, was born on April 7, 1953 and passed after a long illness at the age of 56 on February 23, 2010. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends across the country.
She was the beloved wife of Joseph Ortolano for 13 years, mother of Kenneth Fisher of Hobart, Ind., sister of Gregory (Karen) of East Aurora, aunt of Noreen and great aunt to Noreen's children; sister of Patty Schreier, Michele Freiert, Kathleen Dominick and Katie Constanza.
Lohre held a master's degree in Special Education from Buffalo State College. She taught for many years, adoring all the children she helped.
She loved the outdoors, was an avid reader and loved pets, always having a dog by her side.
Services were held Saturday (Feb. 27, 2010) at the Bishop & Johnson Funeral Home, Inc. in Hornell and interment followed at Fairview Cemetery, Almond. |
