JANET L. PALMER SNYDER
BATH-Janet L. Palmer Snyder, 75, died late Wednesday evening (Jan. 27, 2010) at her home at Lakeview Apartments.
Born in Salamanca on Jan. 27, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Eugene Morse Stuart and Helen Rowene Palmer. She was married to Arthur Manciocchi, who predeceased her on May 21, 1971. She later married Charles Oliver Snyder, who predeceased her on Jan. 15, 1993. Besides her parents and husbands, she was also predeceased by her son, James Michael Manciocchi; her grandson, Logan Manciocchi, her brothers, Gary Stuart and Douglas Stuart and her sister, Beverly Spencer.
She attended school in Rochester and before her retirement she was employed as an Administrative Assistant by Pro Action in Bath.
Janet enjoyed crocheting and gardening as well as playing crochet at the Gazebo with Margaret, her friend of a life time.
Her family includes her children, Douglas Arthur (Donna) Snyder of Bath, Arthur Robert Snyder of Dansville, Eugene Edward (Patti) Snyder of New Jersey, Daniel Richard (Dorthea) Snyder of Bath, Theresa Snyder of Dansville, Lisa Marie (Pete) Lyke of Bath, Steven Michael (Cheryl) Manciocchi of Trumansburg, Charles Oliver (Tracey) Snyder of Bradford; her 23 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Pat Stuart of Hilton; her dear friend, Margaret; also her nieces and nephews.\
There will be no calling hours. Services at Lakeview Apartments will be announced later.
