DIANA J. LINTON
AVOCA-Diana J. Linton, 58, passed away late Thursday evening (Jan. 7, 2010) at her home at 3765 Smith Pond Road.
Born in New Jersey on Dec. 4, 1951, she was the daughter of William and Florence Redford Moore. On May 5, 1974 she was married in Lincoln Park, N.Y. to Christopher Linton, Sr., who survives.
She was the president of On Call Energy Management Systems in Avoca and had been employed at Steuben ARC for a number of years.
Diana will be remembered for the love she had for her children and grandchildren.
Besides her husband of 35 years, Christopher; her family also includes her father, William Moore; her three children, Cassie (Todd) VanDelinder of West Columbia, S.C., Jolene (Michael) Robbins of Avoca and Christopher Linton, Jr. also of Avoca; her six grandchildren, Brandon, Ryan, Zachary, Jager, Ravyn and Brice; her brother, Bill (Georgie) Moore of Maryland ; her two sisters, Lori (Peter) Petito of New Jersey and Barb Thompson of Mt. Pocono, PA; also her many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her mother, Florence Moore and her brother, Steven Moore
Calling hours are from 1- 4 p.m. Saturday (Jan. 16) at the Avoca Funeral Home, 22 N. Main St., Avoca, where a service will take place in her memory following calling hours at 4 p.m., with the Rev. Sande Thomas officiating.
Committal services and interment will be held in the spring at Valley View Cemetery, Avoca.
